These videos are the result of a small project being worked on by Valerie's son Wes and a film-maker he is working for, Christian Munoz Donoso. Most of them were unscripted and unrehearsed and were done in one take, but the quality is good for what they are - little snippets about tracking. We are hoping to produce a full-length tracking video with Christian within the next year, pending funding. Christian is an immensely talented wildlife film-maker from Chile. He has won numerous prestigious international awards for his nature documentaries, and we are excited about the prospects of working with him in the future.
Unfortunatley, we have no control of how the web hosting company uses these short videos. Consequently we have been a little dismayed by the placement of our videos alongside videos about hunting and killing animals. We neither hunt nor are we advocates of hunting. It is our hope that the videos will benefit those who are interested in learning about tracking in order to gain an appreciation of wild animals and the natural world that we live in.
